Burlington County Electrician — Every Town, One Master-Led Crew

← Back to all service areas

Our shop is in Pemberton, which puts us inside Burlington County's geographic center. Every Burlington County municipality is inside our same-week service window, and most are same-day.

All electrical work in the county is permitted and inspected through the Burlington County Construction Board. We pull permits in our name and meet the inspector on site — homeowners don't deal with the paperwork.

Why a county-wide crew matters

Burlington County uses one centralized inspection office, but each township enforces minor amendments — Evesham wants tamper-resistant receptacles flagged on the permit application, Mount Laurel requires a separate pool-bonding sub-permit, and Pemberton requires written notice for any underground service trench over 30 feet. We track every one of those local quirks so the job gets a one-trip final.

Common Burlington County jobs by decade of construction

Pre-1955 (Mount Holly, parts of Moorestown): knob-and-tube remediation and full service swaps. 1960s–80s (Willingboro, Medford Lakes, Southampton): FPE Stab-Lok and Zinsco panel replacements. 1990s–2000s (Marlton, Mount Laurel): aluminum branch-circuit AlumiConn pigtailing and AFCI retrofits.

Commercial and light-industrial work

We handle tenant fit-outs along Route 38, Route 70, and the Mount Holly Bypass — 277/480V three-phase service, transformer sizing per NEC 450, and lighting controls compliant with the 2018 IECC adopted by the state. Permits run through the same county office.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge a trip fee for towns farther from Pemberton?

No. Diagnostic and quote visits are flat-rate inside Burlington County regardless of whether you're in Bordentown or Tabernacle. We don't bill mileage and we don't pad time cards.

Which Burlington County towns require an additional zoning approval before electrical work?

Mostly historic-district properties in Mount Holly, Moorestown, and Burlington City. We file the HPC application alongside the electrical permit so both reviews run in parallel instead of sequentially.

Are you actually licensed in New Jersey, or just 'insured'?

Both. DK Electrical Solutions holds an active New Jersey Electrical Contractor license under a Master Electrician of record, plus general liability and workers' comp. We hand the license number and COI to any homeowner or GC who asks before we pull the first permit.
